Skills 4 Work (Gateshead) Ltd supports young adults with a variety of disabilities and/or mental health conditions to make the difficult transition from education to the workplace, and maintain positive mental wellbeing.
Criteria :
1) Live in Gateshead
2) Age between 18 - 30 years
3) Do not have a personal budget to pay to access support
Monday :
12.00pm - Digital Inclusion Project.
1.30pm - Employment Support (Group)
3.30pm - Employment Support (1-1s)
Tuesday :
10.00am - Walking Group
12.30pm - Healthy Cooking.
Wednesday :
Throughout the day - External Work Placements
1.00pm - Social Action Community Lunch (2 per month).

What we do....
Individual Learning Plans support members through a bespoke journey of training, skills development, volunteering and placements.
Our holistic 'whole person' approach engages a wide range of people who work together to support young people, with disabilities, to live an accomplished, brighter future.
A wide variety of stakeholders are engaged in our work, including parents/carers, family members, volunteers and the local business community.
Recognising the significant role health and wellbeing plays in enabling people to live independent and fulfilling lives.
