SAGE Enterprise Fair and Panel May 2017
@Sage Foundation - We were delighted to be asked to attend the above event on Wednesday 17th May. We sold our hand-made cards to Sage
staff and had the opportunity to chat with staff from the Sage Foundation.
We are very grateful to Sage for their support and kind words about our charity.
We presented 2 requests to the panel:-
- To purchase equipment to further develop the activities at our Community Cafe, which included funding support for a Boccia set, an Art tutor and Fitness tutor to allow us to offer specific activities that without the support of Sage would not be possible.
- To organise a Family Day at Beamish Museum during the school summer holidays.
We were delighted that Sage staff agreed that our Social Action Projects were ones that they would like to support.

Visit to SAGE
Members of the group visited SAGE to learn about the organisation and how the company has developed into a world wide brand. We had the opportunity to meet other groups similar to us and learn about the work they do in their communities, and their enterprise programmes
