The Letting Agency Ltd was incorporated locally on 18th March 1997 and has concentrated purely on the management of residential property.

It can offer the whole spectrum of services from collection of arrears to the major refurbishment of properties. Over the years it has had some success in re-invigorating badly maintained and run down portfolios. This has been partly achieved by inviting tenants to form ad hoc tenants associations who would often veto the letting of properties to potential trouble makers.

It took over portfolios from the late lamented PPP and mangaged to recoup the investement for all these clients.

The Letting Agency concentrates upon residential investment properties and is not a sideline of an estate agency.

The firm does not have expensive high street premises as lettings and management can be carried out almost anywhere with the proper use of the internet and websites. Consequently both management fees and letting fees are highly competitive.

The Letting Agency uses self employed staff with flexible working so can offer a round the clock service. It can call upon the services of a recently retired senior rent officer when necessary.

It is in the process of restructuring whereby franchisees are concentrating on comparatively small regions where they can offer highly specialised knowledge of their own region.
