Florida Holiday 2005 : Harry P Lau Gardens

Harry P. Lau's house. He was an industrialist in Orlando who collected plants on his travels around the world, something you're not allowed to do now. He left the gardens and the house to the state on the condition it was used to show to other people all his collection.
The gardens are in different sections, and this one is the Home Demonstration bit where they have laid out parts to show what you can do in your own gardens.
A nice view showing some of the impressive trees about the place.
Part of the Rose Garden with it's fountain and me just visible in the background.
The 'Flower Clock', unfortunately not actually running the day we were there.
Me with one of the many 'copper' sculptures dotted around. This one is obviously the 'gardener', and there's also the 'Wedding Couple' and Mother and Child'.
