Florida Holiday 2005 : Dolphin Cove, Key Largo

The entrance to Dolphin Cove, about 200yds away from the Howard Johnson. They have activities
like swimming with dolphins and educational programmes, and you can go out on boat rides through
the surrounding waterways, mangroves etc.
Inside Dolphin Cove, the pool just behind the trees is where they allow you to 'meet' the dolphins. They had a group of disabled children there the day we were there, and each child had a dolphin to themselves.
On the boat ride out into the waterways through the mangrove islands off Key Largo.
Going through a mangrove tunnel. These are mainly the 'black' mangroves at the waters edge.
One of the 'canals' that crosses Key Largo showing the limestone that makes up the key. You can see fossils throughout the rock.
One of the many $2,000,000 dollar homes along the canals around Key Largo. Apparently, if you buy one of these placeswithout its own dock like this one, the authorities will come and cut out a dock for you for nothing!
The intrepid explorers in the midst of the mangroves, luckily the mosquitos were having a sleep on this particular day.
